Congratulations to Joe Quaresima
Joe Quaresima, Vice President of Sencia Canada Limited was recently honoured with the Chair of the Board Award on January 30, 2008.
Joe Quaresima was given this award in recognition of his oustanding contribution to the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce. Congratulations Joe!

Rotary Radio Day Certificate of Appreciation

On April 24th, 2007, Jason was recognized by the Port Arthur Rotary Club for his outstanding service to business. PA Rotary members include many business and community leaders in Thunder Bay. Jason's photo will be distributed through the Rotary newsletter to businesses in Thunder Bay and throughout the District (which includes North Dakota, Minnesota, Manitoba, and Northwestern Ontario). Global Traders Award
Sencia Canada Ltd. was recently honoured by the McGuinty government as one of Northern Ontario's top exporters for their exceptional contributions to a strong and prosperous province at the 2004 Global Trader Awards. Sencia received the regional Global Trader Award for "Market Expansion - Service". Sencia and other small and medium-sized Ontario-based companies are succeeding in global markets through innovative and high-quality products and services and through strong partnerships and business alliances. Sencia is helping to build a stronger, more prosperous future in Ontario.
Customers who lease one of Sencia's powerful on-line applications for contact management, e-learning or Web site content management benefit from more than just a download. The full Sencia package includes support, training and business consulting at reasonable costs. Sencia clients can customize the appearance of the application by applying their own corporate image. Sencia tripled export sales to the U.S. in 2003-2004.
Awards Ceremony
Irene Kozlowski, Managing Director and Joe Quaresima, Systems Director were pleased to accept this award on behalf of the Sencia Canada Ltd. team.
The Ontario Global Traders Awards are coordinated by Ontario Exports Inc., the Government of Ontario's export development agency, with support from their partners in trade. "Ontario's international reputation continues to grow because our exporters are working hard to bring the most innovative products and services to the rest of the world," said Parliamentary Assistant Richard Patten, who presented the awards on behalf of Minister Cordiano. The awards recognize the most innovative and successful small and medium-sized exporters, business leaders and students throughout Ontario. Exports account for nearly 45 per cent of the province's GDP, and support up to one million jobs in Ontario.
