A Step Beyond.ca provides credit and debt counseling to individuals, couples and families in Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario. Debbie has worked as a Credit Counselor for several years and has extensive experience advocating on behalf of individuals, couples and families, preparing financial assessments and assisting in the preparation of plans to manage resources and repay debts. In 2006, Debbie started her own company, A Step Beyond.ca to assist others who may be puzzled by their finances and who may require assistance getting through the maze of their personal finances to create their individual financial picture.

Titan Worldwide Inc.
Sencia Canada Ltd. has designed a series of Web sites for Titan Worldwide to promote their hydraulic scissor lifts. The sites can be found on all the major search engines garnering high rankings.
A professional and technical concept style, featuring a Flash banner, this Web site conveys a global image. Sencia has incorporated the SIMS content management system, so the client can update his site. Sencia has also reconfigured the content on this Web site to further enhance its search engine rankings.
Thunder Bay Dragon Boat Race Festival
Sencia is proud to be involved in the development of the new Web site for the Thunder Bay Dragon Boat Race Festival. The Festival's committee was looking for a new updated look to their Web site, where they could communicate information to sponsors, volunteers, team managers, vendors, and Festival go-ers, alike. A multi-tiered navigational menu is used, for organization of the site, which the committee members have the ability to modify at any time. A password-protected areas for team managers is also incorporated into the site, so teams can receive important forms and lists, as part of their participation in the event. A flash banner area at the top features race and festival pictures. A countdown clock on the right creates added excitement, as the days count down to the 2007 race.

With creative marketing campaigns and large amounts of inventory moving in and out through sales and rentals each day, the team at Equipment World realized a new company Web site and online inventory control system would be beneficial. Sencia met with key representatives and created a site that would meet their marketing and inventory control needs. The new Web site employs SIMS, allowing the Marketing Department to advertise their products, rentals, training programs and services to a larger market. The Inventory Control System "Equipment Tracker' was designed by Sencia to assist Sales and Rentals staff conveniently update their inventories. With 3 locations throughout Ontario, it is imperative that up-to-date equipment lists can be generated.
RD "The Rugged Dude' hired Sencia to create the Officially Rugged Web site. Aside from design elements to complement the hunting and fishing themed site, the site needed to accommodate a multi-tiered forum for fans to share their rugged experiences.
A flash-sequenced sponsor area in the banner section was incorporated to give the sponsors extra visibility. Additional features include videos and a newsletter sign-up. Overall results: rugged...

Thunder Bay Laser Clinic
The Thunder Bay Laser Clinic was looking for an updated look to their Web site. Sencia Canada Ltd. was hired not only to redesign their new creative concept, but to also write the content on their site, offering a full explanation of services to customers.
A captivating Flash intro to grab the user's attention, along with a Flash banner and colourful graphics throughout capture the appeal associated with this beauty-related industry.
SRC Print and Graphics
SRC Print and Graphics was ready for a new Web site to feature their business services. Sencia was hired to create a Web site concept, to write content to illustrate the company's services, and to employ a Web Marketing/SEO strategy. SEO (search engine optimization) is an added service. The advantage of having your Web site optimized for search engines, is increased visibility of your Web site. To have a new Web site is a good start, but not enough for the long haul. Your site must be optimized and marketed to be truly beneficial in attracting new business in a global marketplace. For SRC Print, the results have been positive with #1 and #2 rankings for their search terms.

Wright's Camp on Gullrock Lake
With an array of fishing resorts throughout the Northwestern Ontario region competing for business, Wright's Camp wanted a "new and improved" site to help them stand out. The Wright's Wilderness Camp Web site offers a brochure-style design featuring fantastic photography of their lodge and fishing adventures. It was important to create a very visual site, with easy-to-find information on their cabins and packages for prospective future guests. The site also features an impressive photo gallery assisting in "luring" new customers.
Thunder Bay Ventures
Thunder Bay Ventures is a non-profit organization committed to fostering community economic development in Thunder Bay and the region. Sencia offered the organization a Web site featuring SIMS (Sencia's content management system) to allow Thunder Bay Ventures' employees to easily and efficiently manage their Web site. Avoiding the cost of professional HTML updates, SIMS allows users to update their site using a WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) type format, very similar to Microsoft Word. SIMS has proven to be a valuable and cost-effective way for Thunder Bay Ventures to maintain their organization's site.

Thunder Bay Multicultural Association
The Thunder Bay Multicultural Association was due for a new creative design, and came to Sencia for their new Web site. TBMA requested a concept featuring the colours red, yellow, black, and white. Sencia designed a template that revolved around these colours, and featured photos of people of various ethnic nationalities. The result is a colourful and exciting Web presence that is representative of the wide range of ethnicities in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Superior Edge Hockey School
Katie Weatherston, 2006 Canadian Olympic Gold Medallist in Women's hockey started an annual developmental hockey camp focused on female hockey in Thunder Bay and surrounding areas. Sencia stepped in to create a site to meet Katie's needs in advertising her hockey school, and in accepting online registrations. Living on the east coast to attend university, it is imperative for Katie to be able to communicate with her students in Northwestern Ontario and with those interested in learning more about her school. The Web site is a perfect medium! Katie is able to update her site from her location and accept new registrations.

SEPT EFX is a static Web site which focuses primarily on product information; and secondly, on search engine optimization. Sencia designed a clean style template, to showcase the product and its benefits. Twin City Refreshments
Sencia Canada Limited was hired to design Twin City Refreshment's new Web site. With the intention to make ordering supplies easier for their valued customers, Twin City opted for an e-commerce site. The e-commerce system that Sencia has designed is very robust, and allows Twin City to add, modify and delete products at any time. An added feature is the ability for new customers to sign up for an account direct online! Online shopping is very convenient for businesses today. Ubiquity Lake Outfitters
Ubiquity Lake Outfitters contacted Sencia Canada Ltd. all the way from Watrous, Saskatchewan to design a new look for their fly-in fishing and bear hunting Web site. Sencia's Creative team incorporated an earth-tone colour scheme, including colourful fishing and hunting photos to further "lure you in". SIMS content management system was added to the site for easy site maintenance and updates. Finally, search engine optimization practices were used to further generate interest in this truly unique fly-in fishing resort.
Four Seasons Outdoor Recreation Ltd.
Four Seasons Outdoor Recreation is an outdoor enthusiast's dream site! The site features a selection of equipment and accessories, both new and used, for boating, fishing, camping and many more outdoor activities. Four Seasons requested a Web site to display their wide selection of products, so customers could easily see what they have available. Colour photographs have been added of each of their products. A Flash logo was created for interest.

Valley Fresh came to Sencia Canada Ltd. for a Web site to promote their fresh fruit. The "fruity' and lively colours are very representative of a fruit stand, almost enticing you to visit them and pick up your own basket of goodies. The site utilizes the SIMS Content Management System, and features a news section "Orchard Update", allowing the client to post new information at any time. SIMS allows the client to rename the navigation, and update the pages anywhere with an Internet connection.
Alan Dickson Photography
The Alan Dickson Photography Web site was designed in such a way to emphasize Alan's stunning photography, and not to compete or take away from it. The simple black and white concept is the perfect backdrop for Alan's artistic creations.
Through the SIMS content management system, Alan is able to add to his portfolio of work without use of HTML. Updating his site is straight-forward, allowing him the freedom to make changes at a moment's notice.

North Superior Publishing Inc. contracted Sencia Canada Ltd. to create a Web presence for their Snowmobile News publication. A site heavy on links and content, the template was laid out to best accommodate the large amount of information. The result is an exceptionally laid out directory-style Web site that capitalizes on site organization. Using CIPlace, one of Sencia's content management systems, North Superior Publishing Inc. now has the ability to update their Web site, adding new articles and events.
AIS - Assessment & Intelligence Systems
AIS is a company dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals requiring health & social care and to those persons providing that care. In recent years, the health care industry has made significant advances in the adoption of technology as an integral part of the business function. Therefore, AIS enlisted the help of Sencia Canada Ltd. to create a Web site that unites technology and health care, in a professional, but non-sterile Web environment. Specializing in concrete, restoration and masonry supplies, Kam Industrial Supply was looking for a solution to highlight and market their products to the pulp and paper industry, mines, government agencies, contractors and residential home builders. In addition to design, Sencia provided full copywriting services, to ensure Kam Industrial's products and services were communicated effectively, allowing them to maintain their focus on their business and customers.
Finnport Inc. was ready to take their business to the next level and hired Sencia Canada Ltd. to help take them there. A popular and well-respected local Thunder Bay Finnish gift store, Finnport wanted to expand their market through the creation of an e-commerce Web site. A secure and easy-to-use shopping cart allows customers from around the world to experience the friendly giftware shop, and purchase exquisite Finnish gifts online. Finnport Inc. is able to easily add, modify or delete products and pricing through Sencia's intuitive and well-designed e-commerce system.
