SE1 - Entry Level Programmer
Sencia Canada Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for qualified individuals seeking employment in an entry level programming position.

Description:
Reporting to a Technical Lead, the SE1-Programmer has education and/or experience in programming skills in ASP, VB.NET, ASP.NET, MS SQL and/or ORACLE scripting development. The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and verbal skills, be able to manage projects from conception through completion and with work well with business development, software engineering and creative teams.
Primary responsibilities include designing, developing and supporting applications including integration with existing on-line applications. Effective skills in developing, documenting and communicating complex software designs. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Able to work effectively, independently and take ownership for issue resolution.
Requirements:
A degree or diploma in computer science, information technology or computer engineering. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Unemployed or underemployed youth (under the age of 30) who have graduated with a degree or diploma from a post secondary institution within the last three years and is legally entitled to work in Canada. This full-time position is partially funded by FedNor's Youth Internship Program.
