Data Storage:
We store content on redundant disk systems to provide greater reliability and performance for your users.
Sencia hosting service network is located in the finest facility in Minneapolis. They are hosted at the Inflow national data network. This network consists of 3 distinct DS3 lines provided by GIGEX, UUNET and ATT.
(a DS3 is a dedicated, private line service designed for point-to-point communications. This 45 Mbps digital service transmits data over fiber optic cable.)
- 100 Gigabytes (GB) bandwidth/month included in service pricing. The total bandwidth used per month is equal to the amount of data transferred to or from client services (whichever amount is greater).

Service Monitoring:
24/7 service monitoring. Sencia employs a Network Monitoring System to constantly monitor the health and performance of hosting services. Their staff is prepared to recognize and resolve problems on a 24/7 basis.
Database Backup:
Daily data backup to DLT. Sencia backs up all website content and databases to DLT libraries on a daily basis. Additionally they maintain a full set of backup data offsite for disaster recovery purposes at all times.
Firewall Protection:
Sencia will host the systems behind a secured firewall system. Sencia is one of the few hosting providers that provide full firewall protection for all of their clients.
Power Redundancy:
Sencia provides uninterrupted AC and DC circuits to their servers and other equipment. Redundant Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) protect each 20-amp or 30-amp circuit. The UPS filter the power feed, compensating for surges, high-voltage spikes, switching transients, sags, electrical line noise, frequency variations and other conditions that prevent the proper operation of your equipment. The UPS systems are in turn protected by diesel-powered generators that can run for 72 hours on one fill up.
